Thematic Discussion: Inclusive Village Indicators
This discussion explores efforts to dismantle structural and cultural barriers faced by persons with disabilities in rural areas—from access to basic services to participation in decision-making.
Since 2014, SIGAB Indonesia has led advocacy through Temu Inklusi, developing Inclusive Village Indicators (IVI) that grew from 9 to 11 points by 2024, based on experiences in 41 partner villages. The session highlights IVI’s impact on village governance and the challenges of expanding inclusive practices nationwide
